tough 15

I wanted to run 13-15km today, and 15 would be the max - no stretching it out to 17 as I like to add normally when feeling good and having a good run. Today was the kind of run that I had to force myself and push hard to reach my goal, as I really wanted to finish early a number of times.

The run was tough. Beautiful weather, but a little warmer than expected. My legs felt a little tired and heavy and I was not getting a good rhythm nor a good pace. My pace was fast but a little slower than most recent runs, and it times it felt downright slow.

Anyways, I stopped a few times for a couple of minutes to rest my legs and catch my breath, but overall it was a good run, finishing at 15km at a good pace. I ran my regular route in RBS with a stretch out on Road 10 to 375 and back.

uneven 6

have not run since Friday, mostly because of some pain in various parts of my body that are crucial for running. Feeling good enough today, with the addition of spring weather, that turned out to be quite a bit warmer than expected, I pushed myself to go out for a run.

6km at a fast, but uneven, pace. The first few kilometers I ran a little slower than expected, and the last few kilometers I ran faster than expected. Overall, my pace was nice and fast, similar to most of my runs the past few weeks.

great 6

cool and overcast, even colder than I expected, but I had a great 6km run at faster speeds than any recent run in a long time... I really pushed hard on a couple of sections.

great 11

nice weather, though a bit chilly in the shade. I got in a great 11km run. I had no idea what I would run - the choices were, realistically, all the way from 5km to 15km, though I settled on 11.

weird 17

Today's run started off great. I was in a good rhythm, feeling great, running strong and at a good pace.

After I ran up Yarmouth Park and then across to Hayarden, I noticed that my watch was messed up. The data on display was not what I normally have there, and at first I did not know if the watch had stopped or if it was still tracking me. When it hit the 6km marker, I realized it was still tracking me but it was showing me data that I had no idea what it was (I later realized it was showing me heart rate, heart rate zone (which I have no idea what this is) and something else that I dont know. It also seemed to me that it lost a kilometer or so, as the spot where it marked 6 is usually where it hits 7 on this route. Anyway, with nothing to do about it, as attempts to change the display came up empty, I just continued on.

The worst of it was not knowing my distance. I was planning to run between 12 and 14km, and I needed to know which way to go, how far out to go, when to plan to turn, where to extend and for how much, , and that was becoming difficult without the distance on display. Not seeing the pace was also frustrating, but much less so. I realized that when pausing the watch it would show me a number of data points including distance, so while it broke up my rhythm, every now and again I would stop for a moment to pause the watch and check my distance.

After running across Hayarden, I ran down to Mishkafayim and across out to Road 10. On Road 10 i ran out to the end by 375, up a bit and then out towards Tzomet Etziyona. I turned partway there and ran back, finishing at, at least, 17km. It might have b 18 or slightly more, but I can only go by what the watch says...

gr8

After a few days of not running, mostly due to bad weather (though I surely could have found some decent weather time to run during those few days, just was in a bad weather funk), I got a great 8km run early this afternoon, and at a great pace. I ran my regular route across Kishon and the beginning of RBS B, on the bridge to RBS C, up Park Yarmouth, over to Hayarqon and back down to the house.

really great 7

a dark, cold, overcast and rainy day had me abandoning today's run... but lo and behold the afternoon turned into a beautiful day, if still a bit chilly and windy... so I went out for my run.

7km at a fast pace and I altered the last section of my run and ran down to my kids house and said hello to my granddaughter and got to wish her a good shabbos in person, making this a really great run...

pretty good 10

I was not going to run. I felt my legs needed a break. The problem was that the weather is so beautiful, and a storm is approaching with a few days of cold and rainy weather coming. Carpe Diem, as they say. I just could not stop myself from going out. And with the bad weather coming, I pushed myself from just running 5 or 6km to running 10km, and form an expected slow run to a fast run. Granted, I had to stop a couple of times for a few moments, but overall it was a pretty good 10km run at a fast pace.

great 10

I had a great 10km run today in beautiful weather. 10km, though I had wanted to do 12 but ran into time restrictions.

The run was fast, though it felt somewhat slow and labored. Also, it was a bit painful, with my ankles hurting and leg muscles sore, probably from previous runs. I pushed through, making the fast pace an even better accomplishment.

good 6

it was really a great run by all indications, but I only call it good because it was tough and I had to push, which is really a reason for it to be better, not worse. 6km at a fast pace.

The weather was nice but a bit cooler than I had expected.

The first kilometer is usually one of my fastest, and the next 2 are always a little bit slower than the first (because of some slight uphill and probably other factors). When I finished the first km and it was a much slower pace than usual (but still fast), I thought this was going to end up a slower run. Then the next 2 kilometers registered significantly faster. I dont know why this happened.

great 12

Middle of the day 12km great run. Great pace, great distance, great weather, and even bumped into a couple other runners and friends I sued to run with regularly and ran with them for about 3km...

good 6.5

I am pretty sure I wont be able to run tomorrow, so i pushed to run tonight. The Motzash started off a little rainy, but it was not really cold. I went out to run and it was raining so I went back in to wash dishes. When I finished it was not raining so I went out to run.

As a Motzash run it was a little bit slower than recent runs. For it to be only a little slower is pretty good for a Motzash run./ It was still a fast run, just a little slower than other recent runs. I pushed and got to 6.5km. Overall good run and the evening was nice.
