windy 6


With a new set of cold and rain approaching, it was already windy and chilly this morning but I got in a good 6km run. While I had decided to run at a slightly slower pace, I felt great and while I thought I was running slightly slower my pace was still really good and faster than expected.

great 8


8km at a great pace. Had to stop a couple of times because of work calls and then got distracted by checking whatsapp, but other than that it was a really good run. I did feel that inner thigh pain again the last couple of kilometers, but I was able to keep running - it was not strong enough to disrupt.

Sun was out nice and bright, weather was slightly chilly, though I dont think I needed the long sleeved shirt I wore.

blustery 7


had a good 7km run this morning. I waited until it warmed up a little but it was still chilly. A storm is supposedly approaching, even though the skies are blue (for now) and the weather is slightly warmer. It was very blustery so that might be a sign that the forecast is correct about the approaching storm. I wore my long sleeved running shirt due to the chillier weather. When I was in the sun with no wind, I thought I had overdone it with the shirt selection, but I was thankful in the sections that were very windy. Still finished with a great pace despite the winds.

very good 6.5


I just had a very good mid-day run. It was still chilly but warmed up enough for me to go out in the beautiful big blue skies for a 6.5km run at a very good pace. It was a bit difficult as my legs were feeling a bit strained with muscle pain from the running. 

I have not been running all that much through the recent stretch of bad weather, so it isnt overuse. I have been running faster recently, so maybe it is because of that. I actually thought that maybe I have changed my posture and form recently so maybe because of that I am feeling the muscle stress as I use different muscles now, but then I realized that I recently got faster and maybe that is also a result of a change, but I dont know if this is accurate as I felt like I was running in pretty good form for a while already and now I feel like it as well, and I dont notice any significant change in my running form. It will probably remain a mystery.

very good 7.5


Got in a very good mid-day 7.5km run. After last week's pain, I took some days off and that led into some bad weather, so I used the pain excuse to take some more days off. Today turned warmer than expected, though still chilly, and I got some free time around noon, so went out for a run. The run was pain-free, so all good on that front, and I ran hard and had a very good 7.5km run. The rainy weather is returning, so we'll see what is next

disappointing 5


I was having a great run at a great pace in the beautiful sunny weather when I stopped at a bit over 5km to take a phone call and catch my breath. A minute or two later I started up again but felt a sharp pain in my thigh. I stopped and stretched and tried to start again and it was  still there so I called the end to my run and finished at 5 (a little bit over). Hopefully it will clear u quickly but it brought an abrupt end to what was a really good run

great mid-day 7km run. The weather out there today is really beautiful, if a bit on the warm side. Really great day for a nice run. Pace is still great and unexpected.
