fine 7

 ON

decent run. better than expected and assumed. Felt a little stiff and heavy so was surprised the pace was decent and not as slow as expected. Great weather, if a bit cool in the shade but wonderful in the sun.

ok 6.5

 ON

not a bad Motzash run, almost definitely because I didnt run on Thursday or Friday due to the bad weather.

Decent run tonight, a bit slow but not as slow as most Saturday night runs. Pretty cold but nice overall.

very good 10

 ON

was only going to run 8, but then almost cut it to 5, and then ran 10km. Beautiful weather, before the storms roll in tonight for the next couple of days. After the first few fast km, I started to feel tired and slow, but in reality pace turned out to still be pretty good.

great 10

 ON

After another cold and rainy morning, I thought I would miss my regular Wednesday run. Later in the morning it suddenly cleared up and was bright and sunny with some nice white clouds, but I was working. I could only hope that the gap in the rains before the coming storm would last long enough to give me some time to run.

Finally I got my chance, though by then the rain clouds were already moving back in and it had gotten colder and windier. Still decent weather, with some bits of sun, and I took advantage and went out. I was hoping for 8km, but left it open to depend on the weather.

I ended up running 10km really strong and at a great pace, despite the strong headwind in some places.

good 6.5

ON

good 6.5km. I thought it would be another no-run day because of cold, wind and rain and not much time. I was outside and it was such a beautiful day I decided that when I get back i would go for a run. So I did. a bit tough with a cold wind, but overall it was really nice and I had a good run.

easy 6.5

 On

still feeling a little stiff, I went for an easy 6.5km run. Didnt go early morning because it was too cold and I procrastinated, but when I finally got out the cold didnt bother me, though the headwinds did. I knew I wouldnt get an amazing run in, so I just took it easy and was happy to get any run in.

wet 8

 On

yesterday I didnt run. I woke up a little too late so didnt have time and when I had time later I decided not to so that I'd be able to have my Friday long run, even though I really wanted to.

Then the storm hit. I was hoping I would have a nice gap in the morning to run, and I did. But it was still cold and rainy, and after a tough night I decided I would only run a basic 5km. I was felling good though and the rain was only light, so while I knew I would not be running the 15 or 18km I had originally planned, I knew I could do more than 5. So I extended it and ran 8km. There was a light rain throughout the ru but overall it was a pretty good run at a decent pace.

tired 8

 HOKA

I was a bit surprised to see my final average pace being pretty decent, as I felt like my legs were very heavy and tired during the run. I started off well and was running strong, but from about 3km my legs just felt tired. I pushed on, but it didnt feel like such a strong run. Happy with my 8km run, and the better than expected pace is a bonus

tired 7

 ON

The run was actually a good one, but I was tired after a late night. I ran strong, but felt tired. I had to stop once to rest for a moment, and then got lucky when I had to take a business call which forced me to stop a second time. Besides for that though the run itself was pretty good 7km at a good pace. Beautiful warm weather soaking up the warm rays of the sun

Unexpected 16

 Hoka

I went out looking for a 14km run, maybe pushing to 15, but ended with a 16km run. It was a good run. Was feeling good, got up early, air was cool though there was a strong breeze.

Regular route across Kishon and bridge to Gimmel, up through Yarmuth Park and then across Eliyahu Hanavi past Gimmel. At the junction there I was torn as to whether turn around, turn right and explore, or turn left and take the road down to the 375. I was very tempted, but I felt 17km would be too much for the day and forced myself to turn around or turn right instead.

instead of turning back I turned onto Zechariah and ran until the section down to Tzeelim. It was nice to explore on the edge of RBS C and D and get a sense of the directions out there. That would have brought me down near my house with not enough distance, so I turned back and ran back Zechariya the other way, and took Eliyahu Hanavi back to RBS A. Then I ran part of Hayarden and turned around and ran home. I ended with 16 because I kept adding just a bit more, as I was feeling good. Pace wasn't great but wasn't bad either. Slow, but not too slow.

relaxed 5

 On

after my Saturday night I discovered that last week I had been exposed to someone COVID-positive, so I had to go into quarantine. I have now finished my quarantine, with two negative tests, and was finally able to run this morning.

Taking it easy, I ran a relaxed 5km in warmer early morning weather than it has been in a while.

lousy 5km. Perfect Motzash run. Everything hurt. Everything was uncomfortable.

good 11

 On

Had a good 11km run just now, mid-day. Beautiful weather but slightly warmer than expected. Wanted to run earlier and longer but schedule got messed up unexpectedly. When finally able to run, I was really too tired to push for 15 or so. I considered just a short 5 or 6km run, and I considered pushing to 13 or 14 km. In the end after changing my mind during the run a dozen times, I ran 11km at a decent pace.
