after a few days off due to travel, was back at it this morning with a good 7km run at a good pace. Weather was good but it felt like today is going to be a hot one....probably good I got it in early as we are entering the portion of the year where the heat gets overbearing....

so I think I figured out that the indoor tracking is via the swinging of my arm. While running this morning for few minutes I held onto the heart rate bar of the treadmill and then noticed that my watch had stopped tracking me. I let go and continued on my way to nowhere but based on conversion rates it looks like I lost about half a kilometer. My watch tracked me at 7.5km while the treadmill gave me 8km. good run at a really good pace, though the pace on the watch was also messed because of the watch trying to track me for half a kilometer that I was running at no pace, so whAtever

I am in transit this week so likely mostly running indoors on treadmills. I still have no idea how the gps tracking works indoors, but I only have those numbers to go on, even if I am unsure of their veracity. I ran 7.5km at a decent pace. It doesn't seem accurate to me, as I was incrementally increasing the speed on the treadmill but my pace mostly stayed the same, but it is what it is

unusual for a Motzash, I had a good 5km run. Couldnt run longer due to time constraints, but it felt good, like a good mid-week run, not like a Motzash run

it was hotter than I expected. By the time I was approaching 10km I was feeling worn out, but I kept going as I was determined to run longer than 10. I made it to 11.5km and while most of the run good, the last couple of kilometers were tough...

good 7km morning run in good weather but burnt air from the bonfires last night, some of which we still smoldering as I passed them...

good 6.5km mid-day run. I was going out int he heat so I knew to take it easy and that my run would probably have to be a little shorter than preferred. It was a little shorter but my pace was pretty good and felt strong so it was a good run.

I had two good 5km runs, totaling 10km for the day. Actually one was good and the second was ok. 10km was more than I had planned to run - I was thinking in the 7.5-8km but at 5km I was interrupted with a task that came up earlier than planned so I quit at 5. After the task was completed I decided to finish my run, so to speak, but then instead of running another 3 or so I ran another 5, totaling 10km for the day./ The second run was a little stiff and slower than the first but overall both runs were good.

good 7km run. felt better than expected but was still a little sore. 7km at a decent pace. Nice cool overcast morning. I like the sun a little more but this was nice.
Brooks
good 7km run surprisingly good for a Motzash. I thought I would get 5 in, and it started off feeling like a lousy run, but after a quick pit stop I felt much better and the run was really good and felt strong. Pace was decent, and much better than a normal Motzash run

Just blew threw 900km on my shoes...impressive of them to hold up as well as they have... 10km run this morning. Felt a little tight and sore. run was not smooth, but I got it in. I really wanted more than 10 but it wasnt going great so I let the time be a factor and I suddenly didnt have time for more....pace was actually decent, though the slow side of decent, but it just wasnt smooth

Because I didnt get out when I wanted to, by the time I was finally able to go out for a run I ended up with a shorter run than planned. I just didnt have time for as long a run as I had wanted. But 7km is also good, definitely better than 0km, so all's well that ends well.
7km run at a better than decent pace. Felt great. A bit warm but a decent breeze kept it reasonable.

went out for an easy run. It was already hot because I was unable to run earlier this morning, so in addition to just wanting an easy run, it was too hot to expect anything more, though I do love running in the hot sun. I got a good 6.5km in, it felt smooth, and while my pace was ok, it was actually significantly better than I had expected....

Had a good 7km run this morning at an ok pace. Felt good though and that is what is important. a beautiful morning for a run
Brooks
Good 13km run at a reasonable pace. I have started to wonder if I can get to 900km in these shoes, and now I think I will very likely blow through 900 by a lot. Weather was great and cool, though a bit breezy.....

In honor of Israel's 74th birthday with today being Yom Haatzmaut, Independence Day, I decided to cut my run short at 7.4km. It was a strong run on a beautiful morning. The pace was just ok, as I was talking it easy for a Thursday run and not pushing it. I felt like I could have run more and was originally planning on 8+ but decided to celebrate with a symbolic 7.4

really strong 8.5km run at a great pace. Felt great. Memorial Day run. Great cool weather.

woke up and got ready for a run but didnt really want to go. Problem I new is though that later when I would feel like running I would not have time for it as it looks like a tight schedule for today. Eventually I pushed myself out the door but agreed to just keep it short and slow And that's what it was, short 5km and a slowish reasonable pace. And got an urgent early morning work call, which is unusual for so early in the morning, in the middle, ensuring I would keep it short - at the end as I approached 5 I suddenly had a burst of energy and if not for the work call I might have pushed out another km.

I was resigned to not running today due to some weird scheduling. It just was not going to happen. Had to go to Tel Aviv super early, then come back and get kid back to yeshiva, then some other stuff... it just was not going to happen. And then suddenly I saw a gap open up and I jumped and took it. Went for a 7km run in the heat, and had a really good run at a pretty good pace.
