good 8ish km run on the treadmill again. I think. Last one for a long time.

I still dont know how the technology for indoor tracking works and if the distance and pace is recorded accurately, but I ran what was recorded as 16.5km, all on the treadmill and at a good pace. And I could have gone longer as I felt good, but needed to get moving to start my day.

I am in transit so I am off schedule. I did not run outside because it was early and dark, did not want to run in what seemed like dangerous conditions so I ran on a treadmill. I have no idea how the technology works but my watch an indoor running option - I dont know how it tracks my speed and distance, but it had me at 10km at a decent pace. I kept upping the speed on the treadmill during the run andf it felt like I was running faster than usual and this only gave me a decent pace, but based on the amount of time I ran it seems it would not be too far off, if at all, so whatever.
10km at a decent pace

Tonight's run was unusual. For a Motzash run it was great (though for a regular run it was just decent).
Normally Motzash runs require pitstops, along with being out of sync, heavy feeling, hard to breathe, and super slow. Part of that is overeating on Shabbos and part of that is due to my Friday long run causing me to still be sore.
Well, despite this Friday's long run being 20km, and at a good pace, I felt fine tonight, and despite overeating on Shabbos I felt fine tonight and had a good 6.54km run at a decent pace.

In advance I felt like it would be a good run and that I would push to the high teens or maybe even 20km. While out, despite feeling great and having a great run, a couple of times I decided to cut it short. At one point I thought maybe cut it at 7 or 8km, then at 12ish. Each time I thought that I dont need to run long, I am not training for anythign, and I actually had some work stuff on my mind and that i needed to deal with...
I pushed forward and extended my routes and before I knew it, I was set to finish at a little more than 19km, so I extended a little more and finished at 20km at a good pace

After a few recent runs that were not so great, I thought today would be another. Turns out it was a pretty good run. 10km at a good pace, and I felt fine running, with no need to take a bunch of rest stops, as some recent runs have gone....

the run itself was lousy, but I ran 6km at a decent pace. I was feeling lousy and uncomfortable and I kept stopping for micro-breaks. I was just off kilter and off balance.

While originally i had been looking forward to a nice long run this morning, realistically my intentions had to change after I went paddle boarding yesterday. Additionally, in the evening I experienced some knee pain out of the blue. I had no idea what I would be able to run on Friday morning. It turns out my knee is mostly ok, but my body was so tired, especially my legs, from the paddle boarding that I just took it easy. I was resigned to just running short and then decided I should at least trudge along a little further to make it more than an average weekday run. I ended with a 7.5km run at a slowish pace -slowish but not as slow as my really slow runs.

good 12km run this morning. I have been feeling a bit out of synch this week, so I didnt run hard, but I ran steady and the pace was decent, a little on the slow side of decent, but decent. but it was a good run.

This morning was a good 8.5km run, even though the pace was a little on the slow side. The run felt good, I didnt push hard, an ran steady.

lousy 5km run. Kept it short to 5km because of being short on time, and it was a lousy run anyway

I planned on a shorter run than recent long runs, but not as short as it ended. I decided to finally run Nehar Dan, the new road between RBS and BS that looks really good for running. I started off with the start of my regular running route in the neighborhood and then ran down to the start of Nehar Dan. I realized in advance there would be some hill running, especially on the way back from Bet Shemesh, but the amount was unexpected, and it was causing me some pains in my knee and ankles. Because of that and more because of feeling wiped out with all the steep hill climbing, I cut my run on Dan short and turned around - i just couldnt imagine making it back if I would run all the way across as planned.
I finished my run at 10km at a decent pace but feeling wiped out.
